Our hemp journey began in 2008 when our founder and CEO Dave Jordan (‘The Hemp Guru’) experienced first-hand the degradation of our beautiful environment in New Zealand. Dave began navigating the emergence of the hemp industry in New Zealand, establishing our Hemp Farm® retail brand while becoming the country’s leading expert in growing and harvesting hemp.
Hemp NZ™ embodies and contributes towards a circular economy. We specialise in full crop utilisation with practically none of our crop going to waste. The industries and sustainable products that our hemp products enable means wasteful, non-recyclable and environmentally damaging products can be replaced with easily recyclable and carbon negative alternatives.

Hemp NZ™ enables industries by supplying New Zealand hemp products through a diverse array of trusted hemp brands. Hemp NZ™ also undertakes research and development in many areas, including medicinal, construction, food and skin care.
We Are New Zealand Owned
Our office and world-class processing facility is based in Tauranga. We also operate an extensive Growers Group throughout the country., through which we work with contract hemp growers. From Waikato down to Canterbury, we provide growers with a full suite of consulting services, as well as purchasing their crop after harvest.
